Artifact Events Chicago Wedding

Taylor and Drew’s love story began in the most romantic of ways, an app lol!  They both laugh at what brought them together, but whatever works, works!  To be honest we are seeing this modern day love story more and more!!

Taylor and Drew as a couple have something really special in each other.  They have a way of feeding off each other when they are together that make each other grow constantly.  Getting to watch them throughout their engagement and planning journey was so humbling and I am so grateful that I was able to be a part of it!

Their wedding day began with getting ready at the beautiful, art deco Gwen Hotel.  Their first look was an intimate moment between the two of them filled with beaming smiles.  Taylor can I just say…WOW!!!  You were such a stunning bride!!!

The ceremony and Reception took place at Artifact Events.  The boxwood wall of placecards that doubled as photobooth backdrop later in the evening was such a cool detail that definitely made a statement.  Vale of Enna’s design team brought the space to life with eclectic mercury glass candle holders, tons of candle light, greenery, and blush and soft white blooms.  It was romantic and elegant and perfectly them!

Food was of top priority for this foodie couple and J and L Catering crushed it! The guests raved about the food all night! I am still dreaming of the druxelle mushroom tarts and short rib entree! The wedding cake was a showstopper in the middle of the dance floor from Toni Patisserie.  The candied pear slices with gold edging…I mean it was GORGEOUS!

Taylor and Drew and their guests danced the night away with the Blue Water Kings Band.  What a perfect affair it was.

Congratulations to two of the coolest people I know, Taylor and Drew!  I am so glad you found each other!  Cheers to forever!!

Xoxo,

The Storybook Team
