Fun Party Details

Who said that balloons and cotton candy were for kids only?! We are all kids at heart! One of our favorite trends are the oversized balloons, balloon art and some of the other re-imagined items from our childhood! Below we want to share with you some of our favorite details to bring the “fun” back to your parties.

Balloon Art:

Elaine Frei is a Chicago-based designer who is “obsessed with using objects to create experience.”  As the founder of the company Luft Balloons, she believes that “Balloons are a simple decoration.  Balloons make people happy. The world needs a little more of the simple and a lot more of the happy.

”On their website they sell centerpieces, chair decorations, and party favors/balloons sticks.  They can do installations locally in Chicago, or surrounding areas for a minimal travel fee.  If you are out of their installation radius, or if you simply enjoy doing things yourself, they also sell DIY kits online. They are super cute and cost-effective and include their patent-pending pump!

Cotton Candy:

Seth Bankier is the Founder & Chief Executive Spinner of Spin-Spun All Natural Confections.  The company spins cotton candy live in Chicago, Las Vegas, New York, LA, DC, Miami, and Nationwide.  Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Corporate Events, Birthday parties, school dances and in-store promotions are just some of the events that they spin for.

Their cotton candy serving is less than 100 calories per serving!  Their product is fat free, gluten free, nut free, and fair trade certified.  Also, the ingredients are Kosher, dairy free with 100% organic sugar! They don’t contain artificial colors or flavors, preservatives, pesticides or GMOs.  A super cute substitute or enhancement to a sweets table is a having a cotton candy cocktail bar where you have smaller servings of cotton candy placed out in Martini glasses.  If you want to add some extra flare to the cotton candy, they have light-up cotton candy holders that are really fun to have in low-lit environments!

“Designy” Temporary Tattoos:

Whether you want something fun and flirty or cool and badass, Tattly’s selection of temporary tattoos is huge!  This company is based out of Brooklyn, NY but they ship nationwide.  Their tattoos are super unique, designed by professional artists who get a cut of every sale.  And if you are looking for something specific that they don’t offer, they offer custom tattoo services!  All of their tattoos are safe and non-toxic, printed with vegetable-based ink and FDA-compliant.  Their tattoos are perfect for party favors for your guests, or as a special accessory for the guests of honor of the event (think cute “Mr. and Mrs.” temporary tattoos).  Brace yourself! Tattly even has scented tattoos, how mind-blowing is that?!

So when you think of incorporating a piece of your childhood past into your wedding or event, don’t let anyone tell you that it is crazy and not appropriate enough! There are always solutions to creating a fun, sweet and memorable experience to your upscale event!

With Love,
