Chicago Venue Spotlight: Morgan Manufacturing

The Chicago Venue, Morgan Manufacturing is an incredible wedding venue in Chicago, Illinois located in the Warehouse District of the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago.

Capacity and Features

Morgan Manufacturing gives couples TONS of room to work with. The venue accommodates up to 650 for a seated dinner with a dance floor or 1700 guests for a standing reception. Morgan Manufacturing also offers some incredible features!  It is a fairly industrial space, complementing its surroundings. A metal garage door greets the guests and opens into a large area used most often to host seated dinners. This venue also features many unique built-in bars. Several bars are on the first floor and another is located upstairs.

Morgan Manufacturing also offers a renovated rooftop to take photos on.

Rental Equipment and Inclusions

Included with your event space are farm tables, chairs, and highboy tables. Also part of the price is lounge and outdoor furniture, cafe lighting on the rooftop and parking! This upgraded equipment is worth up to $7,000! Huge cost savings!  Depending on your guest count, you won’t need valet parking attendants or parking vouchers.

We recommended bringing in additional lighting. Due to the nature of the industrial environment it can get pretty dark at night once the natural light has subsided. Up-lighting can completely transform an area and give it a very warm and lounge-like atmosphere. Cafe lighting strung from the center is the perfect focal point to highlight the dance floor.

Rental Pricing for Morgan Manufacturing

As of December 2020, Morgan Manufacturing has a $9,500 rental fee on Fridays, $7,500 on Sundays and a $13,000 rental fee on Saturdays. 

Not only will the venue blow your guests away, but so will the food! Their preferred vendor list has a great selection of some of the top caterers in the city. Their diverse list allows you to have options, which keeps everything competitive when it comes to price.

Morgan Manufacturing is one of our favorite spaces in the city.  It has tons of character and can be such a unique event venue.  The amenities really make the space exciting, and we cannot recommend it enough.  It is edgy, chic, industrial, and leaves plenty of room for creativity.  It is a space that people will continue to talk about after the event!
