Alison and Troy really brought their personalities and loves in life into their wedding. Ali and Troy live and breath vintage and antique and to be honest, would probably have chosen to live their lives many decades in the past.So it wasn’t any surprise when they decided to book their wedding at The Jacob Henry Mansion in Joliet, IL. Ali chose to do a lot of her own personal design for the wedding and made the most adorable ring box out of a macaroon trinket that she had. After many rounds of color inspiration gathering, the decision was to go with mint as a main focus with pops of burgundy and soft blush. Garden Roses and Hydrangeas were a must! The men wore light gray suits with a vintage brown shoe.
You wouldn’t be able to tell by the photos but we actually encountered the biggest downpour as we were traveling from her getting ready location at Harrah’s Joliet Casino and Hotel to the venue for photos. But as if the venue knew to expect us, it cleared up just in time to give us the most beautiful light! The details continued throughout the evening with adorable paper airplanes as escort cards and vintage details and actual antiques dressing the guest dinner tables. We honestly felt transported back into time. All our love to Ali and Troy.
