Olivia and Dave’s love story began in France on a group traveler’s trip meant for solo travelers. Who would have thought it would be the perfect place to meet your soulmate!

Their wedding day began with getting ready at the eclectic Hotel Lincoln located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. Olivia and Dave had one of the most joyful first looks we have ever gotten to be a part of at the rooftop of J. Parker. Dave’s face when seeing his gorgeous bride was priceless and truly infectious!

Their ceremony and reception were both held at A New Leaf. It was a perfect warm September day, and they had their ceremony in the courtyard garden with all of their closest family and friends. A good friend of theirs event married them. The ceremony was beautiful and so personalized. I found myself tearing up in the back listening to how much love surrounded the two of them in that moment. It was so obvious that they were meant to be together forever.

The reception decor was simply elegant with organic greenery, white blooms and a sea of candle light. They used a mixture of round and rectangular tables which really brought a cool look to the space.

The first course was served family style in the true Olivia and Dave fashion as it was important to them that all of the guests got to know each other throughout the evening. The amazing food from J&L Catering was inspired by all of their travels across the world. They wanted their guests to experience some of the flavors from their favorite places that reminded them of great memories together that brought them to this special day,

Olivia and Dave’s wedding perfectly represented them as a couple. It was filled with their favorite people surrounding them during an important milestone while enjoying a fantastic meal and dancing the night away before their next travel adventure to Portugal for their honeymoon the next day.
